The 12-year Philippine Basic Education Proposal has been released by the Department of Education! In this week’s episode, Jeric Pena talked about the details of the Enhanced K+12 Basic Education Program. He also read portions of the discussion paper on the Enhanced K+12 Basic Education Program made public by the Department of Education via its website. He also quoted the Education Act of 1982.
Aside from the K+12 Basic Education Program, Jeric Pena also talked about the education budget cuts in the United States as well as in the Philippines. The documentary film “Waiting for Superman” was also covered in this week’s episode.
