Schedule What?

The Merriam Webster Dictionary defines schedule as “a procedural plan that indicates the time and sequence of each operation.” On the other hand, the Oxford Dictionary defines schedule as “a plan for carrying out a process or procedure, giving lists of intended events and times: (usually one’s schedule) one’s day-to-day plans or timetable.

Why is a having a schedule and following it important?

  1. Time is gold.
  2. A schedule helps you to become organized.
  3. A schedule helps you to get things done and to avoid procrastination.
  4. A schedule makes cramming a thing of the past.
  5. A schedule emphasizes your goals.

  1. Planners
  2. Calendar App of your smart phone
  3. Notebooks or Journals
  4. Other Materials you prefer to use

Things You Should Consider When Making a Schedule

  1. Your Priorities and Goals
  2. Your Class Schedule
  3. Your Study Schedule
  4. Extra-Curricular Activities that you engage in
  5. Hobbies and Other Recreational Activities
  6. Your Social Life
  7. Work Schedule

Important: When creating a schedule don’t ever ever forget to allot time for short breaks in between tasks. Taking short but frequent breaks can help keep you sane while dealing with all the school-related stress. Take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy your student life.
